A little help, please??

Can't believe it's been almost a month since my last post! I guess the summer has a way of keeping us busy and making time pass much more quickly. A couple of weekends ago I was in Seaside Heights, NJ for Amy's bachelorette weekend. I had a great time with the girls - drinking, tanning & making new friends =)

In other exciting news. . . Rob leaves Iraq for R&R in 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I can not wait to have him here with me!!!! He has already been gone for 8 1/2 months..and they have been draggging.

Okay, so the main purpose of this post is because I need some help from my fellow CFers. I've lost over 10lbs. since last year. I haven't been sick or anything, I think the deployment has a lot to do with it..stress and such. Anyway, I need recipes, tricks, or ideas that have helped you to gain weight. Thank you all in advance, I know I can always count on you guys! xo

  1. Hey girl! Congrats on R&R. I rememeber DH got R&R last year in August and it was the best EVER! I wish I had tips on weight gain. Aside from drinking boost. I actually just got myself a mickey button to help with weight gain and keep the stress off on eating all the time. I LOVE it . I've actually put on 10lbs in ONE WEEK!

  3. YAY for R&R I can't wait for you guys to be together! Drink Ensure and when you do take more enzymes with them before, during and after!

Stress will do it tho! So think happy thoughts!

  4. Hi Nicole! I have a few recipes that have extra calories that I can send to you. A mac and cheese, enchiladas.. some good stuff. When I start to loose weight, I make this shake once a day, and by the end of 7 days I am up 3 lbs!

1 ensure plus ( the 350 or 560 cal one)
    1 envelope instant carn breakfast
2 cups ( or 3) icecream ( depends on what flavor your ensure and ICB is)
    1 cup whole milk
a few squirts of choco syrup ( if it is choco)
Blend it and Viola.. at least a 900 cal shake.

I vary in the summer. I add all vanilla ingredients, submit the syrup and add fresh fruit with a tad of pomegranite juice... yumm!
